They say that there are good days and bad days in life. Today actually felt pretty good. I felt like I got a lot done. In certain respects anyway. Started tackling the jungle that was my lawn this morning and again this evening. It went well for the most part. There were problems, though I am not dwelling on them too much. Most of the issues were with the piece of crap machine that I have to do the large and unmanageable lawn that I have. Anyway, I got a fairly good chunk of it done regardless. Maybe tomorrow, I'll take another stab at it.

I also ripped apart the rotten back step of the house we're working on. Or finished anyway. And painted the other step on the side entrance. I did some interior mudding, and a couple other odds and ends.

Helped Chris move into his new apartment, which, coincidentally was his old apartment when he lived here before. Not the exact same one, but same building. He gave me an air conditioner which he didn't want, and I didn't need, but I took it to mom's and will try and get it set up for her tomorrow. Her house is an oven and she could use it. I also need to go there some time and finish my long running project of replacing all her plugs and switches, and put her stair railing back up. It'll be nice to get some of those odds and ends wrapped up finally.

Elsewise I did a bit of laundry, and played with my cat in the morning. Nothing special, but the laundry needed doing. The cat is kinda fat too, so it doesn't hurt to give him some physical activity once in a while. I really need to get on that cat run I've been thinking of building, so he can go outside and work off some energy. Just gotta keep him out of cat jail is the main thing.

Tomorrow promises more of the same. Need to start consolidating stuff in my house, and think about what needs to go if a move becomes more imminent than it already is. That's gonna take a while. Not to mention the general house cleaning that I need to do. This place is a mess. If anyone knows where one can get a cheap or free dehumidifier, pass the word along. This basement is kinda damp feeling. More so than normal.

Well that's about it for now. Gotta bunch of things on the agenda tomorrow and a social and stuff this weekend, so there should be more to throw out there for the masses to peruse on Sunday or Monday.
